Innovative Interactive Display System for Exploring the Ancient Design Ingenuity of Chinese Porcelain Reflux Pots via Hands-on Interaction

Historical artifacts have been preserved to document and research various aspects of past humanity, and they are displayed to impart this knowledge to the current generation. Conventional displays enable visual inspection of artifacts but often fall short in conveying the design wisdom of their practical use. The advancement of digital technology has facilitated the development of smart replicas, allowing for direct interaction. In this study, an innovative interactive display system integrating smart replicas, virtual displays, and the showcasing of authentic artifacts was developed to seamlessly engage with the cultural heritage of the Chinese porcelain reflux pot.
