摘要
The National Center for Research on Earthquake Engineering (NCREE) in Taiwan has developed a platform entitled 'Internet-based Simulation for Earthquake Engineering (ISEE)' for the purpose of networked collaborative hybrid testing, which through Internet can link several geographically distributed laboratories together to conduct a single test. In addition to the collaboration between laboratories, this platform also allows visualization of experimental data from around the world as well as instant participation in discussion about undergoing experiments. An associative application protocol called 'Networked Structural Experiment Protocol (NSEP)' defines the general experimental information, significant laboratory events, commands and signals, obligated behaviors of all programs, as well as the communication rules for the proposed platform. Several successful applications of structural experiments verified the validity and efficiency of this platform. Test results showed that signals were correctly transmitted, significant laboratory events were promptly reflected, and the efficiency of data transmission was satisfactory.
