Retraction: Foreign tourists' wayfinding and circuitous behavior in longshan temple of manka

Abstract

There were more than 10 million tourists visiting Taiwan in 2016. 46% of tourists would like to experience Taiwanese temple culture. This study found: 1. Foreign tourists have doubt for wayfinding behaviors around lighting change areas and turning points. 2. 78% of tourists experienced the worship culture without correct worship instructions. 3. Merely 20% of foreign tourists using temple's wayfinding system. Observing worship and wayfinding behaviors of foreign tourists can improve the information of worship circuit indicated in the temple.
