Abstract
Many studies on applying computer technologies and wireless communication have conducted to education issues. These studies provide teachers and students with more active and adaptive support. In this study, we developed a Multimedia m-Learning System with APA (MLSA) that can facilitate Animated Pedagogical Agents (APAs) using mobile devices to become a powerful new technology in school settings. The MLSA was designed and developed for helping teachers to generate multimedia instructional content and students to engage in m-learning activities through three sub-tools: multimedia content authoring editor, multimedia materials sharing website, and multimedia m-learning system. This study hopes that the MLSA can facilitate the use of multimedia resources and APA in mobile applications. Finally, this study presents suggestions and implications for our future works and system development.
