Abstract
In order to coordinate the activities occurring in the automated manufacturing systems, development of production activity controller (PAC) is an important issue. In this paper, PAC software based on Color Petri Net (CPN) for real cases use is proposed. CPN models of processing module, material handling module, inspection module and setup station module are constructed firstly. And then, these models are analyzed for the system properties. Some mapping rules are adopted to transform CPN models into high level programming language for shop floor control use. Two real cases implemented in Taiwan are illustrated to describe the modular benefits and ease customization for this PAC software.
