A hybrid CATV/16-QAM-OFDM visible laser light communication system

Abstract

A VLLC system employing one VCSEL with hybrid CATV/16-QAM-OFDM modulating signals over a 5-m free-space link is proposed. Good performances of CSO/CTB/BER are obtained accompanied with acceptable CNR performance for CATV and 16-QAM-OFDM signals.
